Left and right nostril breathing therapy

左鼻孔及右鼻孔之呼吸療法



我們有左邊及右邊鼻孔。吸氣及呼氣時會不會一樣?
We have left and right nostril. Is that the same for inhale and exhale?

其實不一樣,可以感覺到不一樣。右邊相等於是太陽,而左邊相等於是月亮。
Actually they are different. We can feel the different. Right nostril represents Sun, left nostril represents Moon.

平常頭痛時,可以用手把右邊鼻孔閉起來,只用左邊鼻孔呼吸。大約五分鐘後,頭痛就好了。
When headache, try to close your right nostril and breath using your left nostril. Headache will be gone after 5 minute.

如果疲倦、累了,相反的閉起左邊的鼻孔,只用右邊鼻孔呼吸。不用多久,精神就好起了。
If you feel tired, do it the opposite way, close your left nostril and breath through your right nostril. After a moment, you will feel your mind are fresh again.

因為右邊屬於火氣,比較熱,左邊則比較涼。
Right side is belong to fire (火), so it gets heat easily. Left side will be cooler.

大多數女生用左邊鼻孔呼吸,所以心情比較涼快。
Most of the girls breath with their left nostril, so they have good temper.

大多數男生用右邊鼻孔呼吸,所以他們比較容易生氣。
Most of the guys breath with their right nostril, so they have bad temper.

我們起床時,可以留意哪邊鼻孔呼吸比較快,是左邊還是右邊?
When you wake up, will you notice which side breathes faster? Left or right?

如果左邊比較快,覺得提不起精神,可以閉上左邊鼻孔,用右邊呼吸,很快的精神會好起來。
If left nostril is faster, you will feel tired. So close your left nostril and breath with your right nostril. You will refresh very soon.

這方法可以教導小孩,大人應用效果更好。如果你有警覺心的話,速度更快。
This therapy can be applied to kids, but the elders will have better effect.

以前我曾經頭痛,痛得非常厲害。去看醫生,醫生說:你去結婚就好了!(眾笑)醫生說得沒錯,他有理論根據。
I used to have headache. It was so painful that I went to consult doctor. The doctor told me: "It will be all right if you married!" (LOL) The doctor is right.

當時每天晚上都頭痛,沒有辦法看書。單單吃藥,也不是辦法。
I had headache problem every night at that moment. I could not study even I took medication. That was not a good solution.

有一天晚上靜坐,閉上右邊鼻孔呼吸,這樣子做了不到一個禮拜,頭痛好了!持續做了一個月後,到目前不曾頭痛。
One night, I sat down and closed my right nostril and breathed with left nostril. My headache was gone within a week! I continued for another month, headache does not attack me anymore.

這是我自己的親身經驗,我經常告訴別人,如果頭痛可以試試這個方法,很多人試過都有效果。這是一種天然的療法,不像吃藥會有副作用,為什麼不試呢?
This is my experience. I tell others try this if they have headache. Many people tried and it works as well.
This is a natural therapy. Unlike medication, medicine will give you side effect.
